I bought 2 of these heating pads. I didn’t use them for a couple months. When I did use them, I noticed a little tag on the cord. “This product contains LEAD. Wash your hands after using” Thank you Sunbeam. Just another example of manufactures going over seas, getting cheap products and making big bucks, while we the people are being exposed to lead.

I’m throwing both of the pad away. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SUNBEAM PRODUCT, UNTIL OUR GOVERNMENT CHANGES THE LAWS SO THIS WON’T HAPPEN AGAIN! PEOPLE WE ARE BEING SCREWED BY THE GOVERNMENT AND THE MULTI BILLIONAIR CEOs. DON’T BUY! DON’T BUT! DON’T BUY! DON’T BUY! DON’T BUY!

…just don’t buy this worthless “heating” pad. Towels just out of the dryer are warmer than this piece of junk, and that’s when it’s supposed to be on “high”. Lucky I bought it at Walgreens and returned it the next day. My old Sears heating pad was just right and lasted over 25 years, but they don’t make them any more [of course].

I’m buying another brand, but I’m going to turn it on at the store to make sure it actually works.

I ordered this because of all the reviewers comments that it did not have an auto-shut-off. Joke’s on me. It came with 2 hour shut-off. Hmmmm!Sunbeam Health at Home Heating Pad, King Size 14″ x 18″

This throw is very soft and comfy! I returned it for the larger TWIN size to get more length. The twin size is perfect for sitting in a recliner watching TV. They are both very soft and beautiful! The company was great about exchanging for the twin size. I would recommend the throw for putting over your lap mostly but for all over body heat and comfort, spend a little more and get the twin size. I love it and am thinking about buying more for Christmas gifts!!!

I have a heating pad which works well for more than 10 years. It is made by a different company but has exactly the same function as this one. I think it may be a good idea to get one for my sister. I don’t know why other reviews are so good, but mine only worked for about 2 months.
